There are 2 room types here – 6 Superior rooms and 3 Villas which come with a spacious living and dining area. I checked in to my Superior room and it was well above my expectation, especially with the bargain I was getting. The twin room has 2 solid wooden beds and a meticulously weaved bamboo rack. And wait until you see the bathroom! It is an open-air closet with towering walls plastered by ivy leaves. A touch of natural setting without jeopardizing your privacy.

A resort staff took care of my needs like never I experienced anywhere before. Since I have not had any dinner and eating places were not within walking distance, he took my order and some 30 minutes later came with a tray filled with sumptuous meals! In other resorts, he would probably just put the food in my room and leave, but instead, he painstakingly arranged everything at my balcony so that I could have my meal while looking at the beautiful swimming pool. And at Rp 70.000 ($7), it was a bargain dinner for an astounded soul. He also did the same routine for my morning breakfast of toasts, coffee and fruit platter.

For such an affordable lodging and amazing attentiveness, I can’t think of any place that treats its guest with so much respect, courtesy and civility. Perhaps it is the locals make this island legendary.
