Location
Villa Siam is located within a quite and secure gated development; it is located 20 to 30 minutes from Bali’s Ngurah Rai international airport. While located in the heart of trendy Seminyak the location is very private and quite. The entrance to the villa compound is staffed by 24 hour security.
Villa Siam’s location is convenient to the best of Bali. Seminyak’s Callego / Oberoi beach is a 10 minute walk away. Bali’s renowned dining and nightlife are a short stroll away. The most popular Italian restaurant in Bali, “Ultimo” is a 3 minute walk down the street. Renowned “must do” dining at famous establishments such as Ku de Ta and La Lucciola are within a 10 to 15 minute walk of Villa Siam. The Living Room,Venue at The Moon and Hu Bar as well as numerous other trendy nightclubs are all within walking distance of Villa Siam.
The Villa
Villa Siam is a 220 square meter (2,350 square feet) contemporary modern Asian style 2 bedroom villa completed in 2007. This Bali villa consists of two amply sized bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a large open floor plan kitchen / dining / living area and an outdoor gazebo “bale bengong” which includes a lounge and dining area. The garden is a magically designed oasis; a petite tropical wonderland while the amply sized pool is always tempting for a plunge.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom is a luxuriously appointed sleeping room featuring a king size bed, 42″ flat screen TV, dvd player, seating area, contemporary Balinese artwork and a large ensuite bathroom. All furniture for the master bedroom is beautifully designed and crafted by a renowned Balinese furniture company. The room is fully air-conditioned and has a ceiling fan. Mood lighting throughout. The master bedroom looks out onto the garden and swimming pool.
Frette linens are provided and the bath amenities are Bulgari.
The master bathroom is amply sized and features grey Indonesian marble countertops and walls, a large deep soaking jetted tub, indoor shower with a powerful “raindrop” shower head, dual basin vanity and an outdoor garden shower. The bathroom is fully air-conditioned.
Guest Bedroom
The guest bedroom features a king size bed. Décor is a mix of contemporary Asian style mixed with Chinese antiques and art. It features a writing desk with WI-FI internet and a large wardrobe. The guest bedroom ensuite bathroom is amply sized with a large deep soaking tub and raindrop shower. The guest bedroom is fully air-conditioned and has a ceiling fan.
Frette linens are provided and the bath amenities are Bulgari.
Living Room / Kitchen / Dining Area
Villa Siam’s main area is open plan and consists of the living room, kitchen and dining area. It is elegantly luxurious and imaginatively decorated creating a warm and inviting environment. The ambience is relaxed elegance. Light and airy; the pool and garden become part of the living space once the doors are opened. It’s warm, tropical and very relaxing.
The living room features a 42″ flat screen tv with a Bose home theatre system and a 500 movie DVD library. In addition a small library of loaner books is available. High speed Wi-Fi internet is complimentary. Fully air-conditioned or open the doors and enjoy a traditional Balinese open air living experience.
Décor is a refined mix of antique and contemporary pieces creating a casually elegant ambience – antique opium pipes from Cambodia and Thailand, Turkish carpets, 19th century Chinese cabinetry, Thai silk draperies and blinds, a rare 19th century alabaster Burmese Buddha and custom made comfy chairs and sofas round out the living room.
The attractive Italian marble kitchen is well equipped for cooking with a large side by side fridge and all necessary appliances and utensils. A gourmet grocery store is located five minutes from this Bali villa should you wish to stock up and prepare your own meals.
Inside dining table for six persons is available in addition to an outside dining area for four persons. Most guests opt for restaurant dining as Bali’s best restaurants are reasonably priced and close to this Bali villa. Your villa Butler will cook breakfast for you every morning or self cater breakfast should you prefer.
Oasis Garden & Bale Bengong
The “bale bengong” or gazebo is a thatched roof pavilion located rooftop at Villa Siam. It features a seating area perfect for sunset cocktails served by your butler and a dining table for four persons. Bose speakers provide the music, candlelight and billowing white curtains set the romantic mood. Before evening cocktails enjoy a massage in the bale bengong with Villa Siam’s highly skilled massage therapist. A professional massage table is provided.
The bale bengong is simply and comfortably decorated; it is a great space for a massage, morning coffee or evening sunset drinks. A perfect chill out spot whilst enjoying the Bali sea breezes and thatch roofed “skyline” of Seminyak village.
The petite garden is an oasis of tropical beauty created by one of Bali’s top landscape architects. It’s an integral part of Villa Siam’s warm and inviting ambience.
