Taxi cabs are both loved and hated by Bali Tourist. They serve as a quick and easy means of transportation across the Bali Island, the downside, choosing the right taxi;  “There aren’t really any bad ones; this all depends on how tolerant you are’. After your arrival there will be many unofficial taxi “gypsy taxi” this is what we call them, force your self to the real Taxi. Real taxis are explained below, but struggle to see a real Taxi. There is official Taxis stand lust left as soon as you come out of the terminal, here you are able to see a fixed price and they will assort you to the a waiting taxi.

Porter Warning
Porters are there to give you a hand. It is not that expensive. A normal price is Rp.1 .000,- per bag.

Catching a Taxi
There’s not much to it, just stick out your arm and pretend you’re a Statue”; you will have one in less then a minute. Also you will hear car horns blowing about every 20 seconds; these will be the taxi drivers getting your attention. When the sign on the roof of the taxi are lit, it is available. Blue Taxi is the most reliable and have working meters, unlike gypsies, avoid them at all. These Gypsy Taxis are basically regular cars that will take you from place to place; they usually cost more and aren’t as well regulated (or as safe).

The park property is set amongst 3.8 hectares of tropical Balinese gardens and a home to 15 waterslides, relaxing pools, numerous leisure facilities, a spa and delicacies food courts. Waterbom is an unrivalled day out of excitement, adrenaline and fun for the kid in everyone. There are 15 waterslides to terrify and entertain for hours, from kiddies pools with mini-slides to the death defying Kamikaze slides. The newest is the Boomerang which hurled you down through a covered slide before you emerged into the light and up a sheer 60 degree wall before gravity took over and pulled you down again at breakneck speed into the splash zone. Incredible! It’s not all high adventure and thrills however, there is also a pleasurable side to it all for the less adventurous. After all the excitement you must tried the Lazy River, which wound you through a relaxing 250 metres of slow, flowing water and gentle rapids, then  retreated to the Pleasure Pool where you can played volleyball and chilled out at the swim-up pool bar. My kind of place.

Remember why you come on holiday ? To relax, to have fun, to have a break. Well Waterbom got the perfect combination at Waterbom Park-somewhere you can set your own pace. If you’re feeling active they’ve got water slides, pools, water volleyball. If you just want to unwind there’s no better place in Kuta to do it. Beautiful gardens, great food and poolside massage.

Balinese dairy are simple. Most meals are created around white rice or nasi and there is little variation. Brightly coloured rice cakes (jaja) are the usual Balinese breakfast and other meals involve rice mixed with vegetables, peanuts and sometimes meat (beef being exception only to certain caste).

There are no real meal time. Woman prepare and cook the food in the morning, leaving it in pots covered with palm leaves, for leisurely consumption throughout the day. Eating is one of the few activities that most Balinese choose to do alone.
