WWF Indonesia Executive Director Dr Efransyah argued that the use of fishing rods in circumference, or “circle hook” proved to be superior to regular fishing.
“It was done by testing the use of fishing rods in circumference (circle hooks) on tuna longline fishery in Port Benoa, Bali and Manado,” he said.
